What is Thai Yoga Massage?
In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage, Karen will move you through a series of stretches and yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines and pressure points. She presses knuckles, feet, hands, thumbs and fingers into specific points while holding the participant in a stretch. This combined effort relieves areas of muscular stress and tension. Techniques involve stretching myofacial tissue; acupressure; compression of tissue; and manipulation of soft tissue. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.
