You don’t have to be young, fit or flexible to do yoga. You start from where your body is at in this moment. Each person works within their own comfort level and ability and will come away enjoying the benefits of their practice!

Private Yoga Instruction:

thai-massage2If you’ve been wanting to learn yoga and don’t know where to start or just prefer a more intimate setting this would be perfect for you! This is your opportunity to enjoy a practice that is tailored to meet your body’s specific needs. You will learn yoga in a non-intimidating atmosphere scheduled at a time that works for you. Private sessions are a great way to enjoy personal attention for your practice and receive lots of hands on adjustments. We will account for any physical limitations as you work toward your personal goals. We can set a regular time or two each week for your sessions. The classes include instruction on how to do the postures, breathing techniques, strengthening and stretching the muscles, increasing flexibility in the spine and joints and improving circulation. With regular practice you can experience a balanced and radiant body and a connectedness to your soul.

Yoga with your group of friends:

dimitrayoga_corporate_yogaDoing yoga in a small group is a great way to enjoy some personal attention for your yoga practice and receive hands on adjustments. The class will be designed to suit the ability of the participants. We will account for any physical limitations as well as work toward personal goals. The yoga class will include instruction on how to do the poses, deep breathing, strengthening and stretching the muscles, increasing flexibility in the spine and joints and improving circulation. Participants should wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.  All that is required is a space large enough where everyone would have a little room to move!

Corporate Yoga – Group Classes at your office:

corporate yoga Taking an hour during lunch to practice yoga at the office is not unheard of in today’s corporate world. It is well known that yoga can improve one’s ability to concentrate and elevate one’s mood. Stress management through yoga and meditation can prevent many of the diseases associated with stress that commonly affect today’s workers. Therefore, employees who practice yoga are less likely to miss work due to sickness. For yoga in the workplace, I will design a class that welcomes different levels of ability and takes into account the muscle groups affected by long hours of sitting in front a computer or speaking on a phone. Employees will return to work feeling ready to take on any challenge or task with calmness and clarity!
